I recently stayed at the Abpopa Hotel and it truly exceeded my expectations! From the moment I walked in, the offsite staff were welcoming and efficient. My room was absolutely spotless — clean, modern, and surprisingly spacious, with plenty of room to relax and unwind after a full day of exploring. The location is fantastic. Everything you could want is within easy walking distance: grocery stores, fun entertainment options, and a great variety of restaurants. It made getting around effortless and added so much convenience to my stay. The views from the hotel at night were stunning — I could have sat by the window for hours just soaking it all in. Nights were wonderfully quiet, giving me the peaceful sleep I was hoping for. Parking was available, which is always a bonus, though it did feel a bit crowded and came with a higher price tag than I expected. That was really the only minor drawback during an otherwise excellent visit. Overall, Abpopa Hotel delivered a comfortable, convenient, and memorable stay. I’d happily return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great base in the area!

If you're looking for easy check in & out, great location, and affordable lodging. You can't beat this place. I've stayed at Abpopa twice. The rooms have everything you expect in a room and good wifi. The cafe is cozy and the management is really nice. This hotel is a breath of fresh air from overpriced hotels and places far from Hillcrest, like hotel circle.

Stay at Abpopa Hillcrest was a lovely experience. The rooms are funky and cool with great views of the city. I prefer something a bit more relaxed and quaint and this was the perfect environment for that. The owners were kind and welcoming and their cafe downstairs is delicious! They bake everything there and you can taste it. Staff was helpful and friendly, overall a wonderful place to stay.

My husband and I stumbled upon this gem on accident when our flight back to MN got canceled. The location is so perfect and walkable to all kinds of great shops and restaurants! I really appreciate all the extra security from the main doors to the elevator and custom room code. We stayed one night and it was a Monday but the price was an incredible deal for getting such a nice space! I think we just got the standard room/loft but the attention to details and the way the spaces are used is perfection! The natural light that fills the room gives it such a warm feel and the views are so pretty. I’m not sure what the building was before but the walls are very solid and we didn’t hear anyone else. We were checked in by Michael the manager and we was very friendly and easy to talk to. He walked us through everything and while our stay had no issses what so ever I am confident he would have handled it if there were. I’d highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a beautiful, comfortable and functional space in a really fun area!

Great late night check in. Location was good, affordable, clean. Stayed 5 nights and overflowed trash cans in room. More towels and coffee would have been nice too. Otherwise great stay.

Once upon a time, I needed somewhere affordable to stay while in town for a concert and Abpopa totally fit the bill. What I didn't know that time was how strange the efficiency bathrooms were, plonked right in the middle of the room without a firm doorway to separate it out from the rest. The rooms are awkwardly laid out, with a TV in the middle facing the... sink, and there are definitely touch ups needed here and there. But as far as affordable accommodations go in a killer location (Hillcrest!), it would be hard to beat this. So unbeatable that I just wrapped up my second stay with them. You won't be sitting in the lap of luxury, but no one is pretending you will be.

Great location. Unique boutique hotel. Wonderful cafe underneath. Close walking distance to many restaurants, bars, coffee. Recommend for those wanting a quick getaway to Hillcrest
