Really disappointed in seeing all of the negative reviews. This place is great in the heart of little Italy. Has valet and on top of that the food at the restaurant was good. Santi and Jasiah were the absolute best made me and my girl feel right at home. A1 customer service the rooms were clean smelled good overall just such a great experience. Will defiantly come back again to stay and being from San Diego it was a perfect and economical staycation.

A place to sleep... But that's about it. While the hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the property itself left a lot to be desired. The hotel seems to have an identity crisis, caught between trying to be a hip, upscale downtown event venue and a roadside motel. Because it houses a rooftop bar and movie theater open to the public, there is constant foot traffic at all hours. Coupled with paper-thin walls, you can hear absolutely everything. Getting to your room is its own challenge: the main lobby elevator is easily the slowest I’ve ever experienced, and it’s your only option unless you want to haul your bags up the stairs. The rooms are much smaller than they appear online. The layout is awkward, with only a sliding door separating the bed from the toilet. As for comfort, the bed was incredibly firm yet springy, and the pillows were lumpy and hard. There is a workstation provided, but oddly, no chair. The pool area is very small but heated and relaxing. However, accessing it requires walking right through the public rooftop theater, which made me feel awkwardly on display. Additionally, no pool towels were provided, so bring your own.

Valet will charge you $55/night just to act annoyed when they have to do their job! One night we waited over 20 minutes while there was just two cars in front of us because the valet guys were busy arguing with each other. They also had me park or grab my own car several times, which is crazy for the price they charge. The room was DISGUSTING. Mold, smelled awful, door barely shut and locked, bed was so squeaky, headboards were filthy, people at the pool taking videos in g strings while pouring champagne on themselves (inside the pool) in broad daylight, mystery charges that the hotel can’t explain on my card, loud fighting during all hours of the night outside our room, the list goes on and on! I wouldn’t stay here again if they paid me to!

DO NOT STAY HERE Disgusting unclean rooms with BLACK MOLD, rude staff, and multiple bogus charge. Rooms had soap dispensers covering in rust and did not work. Talked to staff and was blown off and they didn't care. Tub leaked and there was black mold in the restrooms which made us ill. Bathroom faucet hardly worked as it was rusted as well. Staff was extremely rude and didn't even care when talking to them. All the photos on the website are a scam, the rooms look nothing like it states and this is a dirty motel pretending to be a hotel, this is NOT A HOTEL. Valet was a joke and being forced to pay for this service was even more of a joke. Had to walk into the garage myself most times because it was apparently too hard for them to click a remote and find a car. The pool or lack there of is barely bigger than a large bathtub. There is also a diarrhea warning above the tool so take that however you would like as a note. Asked for some more towels because the ones in the room weren't even clean and you could tell and smell they were dirty. Checked my account and they charged me for those towels! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!
