Awful customer service and poor hygiene I was having a shot of whiskey and had to spit out a huge mosquito that was inside the drink. When I went to the bar to let them know—again, not asking for a replacement, just letting them know—the bartender was extremely rude and arrogant. He told me it wasn't there when he poured it and that I must have "caught it outside." The terrible attitude and total lack of professionalism mean I won't ever be coming back. Do not recommend.

Update: Sadly, I can’t recommend one of my favorite bars any longer since they started using facial scanning technology and sharing data with other venues. Creepy and without consent! Google the sfgate’s article 2 other bars badlands and the mix use this as well. Great happy hour literally 2 for one, Fun crowd friendly bar staff one of the few smoking patios. Video and music. Great people watching.

See a sign for happy hour on Saturday until 7:30. Walk in and head up to order at 6:40, had a really unnecessarily rude bartender you’re-wasting-my-time-you-idiot interaction over happy hour ending at 6:30 “okay, your sign at the street says 7:30” “No. It ends at 6:30.” Just because it’s busy doesn’t mean every person wanting to spend money should be spoken to like an idiot. Don’t work in service if you can’t handle a Saturday(?). If I wanted a demeaning tone about things in the real world that outright contradict what you’re saying, I would have called my parents.

The DJs that play here should go to Flicks in San Diego and see how god their music is and replicate it here

Here’s my $10 cover — please put it toward speakers that weren’t around for my middle school phase.
