Happened upon this gem of a motel. It is not the norm but instead a fun and quirky motel (in the best way). It is not a cookie cutter place to stay. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff was PHENOMENAL. Extremely kind and accomodating. A wonderful nod to the days of Route 66.

It was a cute hotel and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing!! My only two complaints were that the parking was difficult due to the amount the people parked watching the live music and we were in a truck; and the lack of amenities, I wouldn't want to stay a week there, but perfect for a night or two!

The rooms were clean, cute, and comfortable. The hotel is located on a busy street, so it was a bit noisy at times. We were a little disappointed that there wasn’t coffee available in the room, and the continental breakfast didn’t open until 7 AM, which felt late for us since we were traveling early. Breakfast had a nice variety — bacon, potatoes, toast, yogurt, fruit, and waffles — but surprisingly no eggs. Overall, it felt like just one small thing missing from an otherwise good breakfast spread.

I had my baby shower at The Mystic. I worked with the event coordinator Libby and she was absolutely amazing. She seriously went above and beyond for us. Everything she did was perfect and organized. Libby made it super efficient and easy for me and made sure I had everything I wanted. The day of my baby shower went so smoothly, we arrived all tables, seats, bar set up, hydration table, was all done for us to have time to finish our decorations. Our guests very much enjoyed our shower/party. The entire staff at The Mystic were extremely welcoming and very helpful. Definitely a memorable place i’ll never forget especially that it was my first baby shower. Thank you to all The Mystic staff and Libby for making my baby shower of my dreams come true.

Very nice woman at reception, gave recommendations about the hotel. Breakfast was great, parking available. The room was very clean. Unbeatable value for money.

Friendly professional low key greeting. What lay beyond was the ultimate expression of the motel reimagined. Designed with a curators touch the rooms were quite comfortable and dark. There is a private botanical garden as well. The restaurant enervated an already sublime experience. The chef nailed dish after dish. When he emerged from the back I was tempted to give him a standing ovation!! The owners came by and we thanked them for what they had built. Brilliant. There isn’t a boutique motel in Palm Springs that can touch The Mystic. Grateful for our stay there.
