Great location right on the boardwalk, very helpful and friendly staff, room was clean, it had a mini fridge and microwave, and the view was amazing, good price compared to other hotels nearby.

Right next to the beach, but you’ll be disappointed with the rooms. It’s a nice place to stay for a few nights.

It was beautiful. Nice view of the ocean, right on the beach. Friendly staff. The only down side is no parking and no ac but they do have fans and luckily it wasn't too hot when we went so we had the windows open and had a nice breeze from the ocean ❤️❤️ very close to Santa Monica, you can ride a e bike there in less than 10 mins , which I highly recommend, its so fun. ✨

I highly suggest finding somewhere else. There is an amazing place that saved me from here "Gjelina Hotel". I booked with a Travel app and paid up front with the Travel app. I arrived with rain down pouring and having to haul luggage down the side walk to be met with hotel staff ignoring me. The hotel was not allowing me to check in because they could not see the name on my credit card I prepaid with. They were going to charge me for the room even though they would not check me in because they try to stick every guest with a policy that I'v only heard of at this hotel. "Per our agreement we do not issue refunds." I spoke with the Travel App company and they had to call the hotel to verify my payment. After that they would allow me to check in, which by this time it was 4 hours later and I had already checked in to the "Gjelina Hotel" with no issues using the same card that they were rejecting. I had the Travel App company refund me and enjoyed my stay at "Gjelina Hotel" right next door.

Definitely pay for the view! We had a good view from our room which was great :) It’s definitely a very old hotel so that comes with its own things, but overall we enjoyed our stay. Thanks!

Bed was hard and low to the floor. I had a difficult time getting in and out. Things were ok the first two nights but Saturday was AWEFUL!!! there is a night club right across the street!!! Loud people, music and cars almost all evening/night. Since there is no AC(which was a shock!) In 2026 where isn't AC standard accommodations especially in CA. ...we needed the windows open so we couldn't escape the outside noise. A comfy chair would have been nice or a couch. Furnishings were scarce and uncomfortable. However over all It was clean.

We stayed two nights at this hotel and were very disappointed with the overall experience. When we arrived, there was no place in front of the hotel to briefly park the car for check-in. The entrance door was locked, and even though the receptionist appeared to be inside, she did not open the door. We had to wait outside for almost 10 minutes until someone finally let us in. The hotel claims to offer parking, but in reality it was not helpful. The receptionist gave us directions to a parking area a few blocks away using a very old-fashioned explanation like “go find the pink elephant.” We couldn’t find the place and eventually had to park on the street far from the hotel. Another issue was that there was no staff available during the night, and no one answered the phone when we tried to call. The noise level at night was also very high, both from inside the hotel and from outside. To be fair, the room itself was basic but clean. However, the poor service, lack of parking convenience, and the noise made our stay quite frustrating.
