Hyatt Centric Delfina Santa Monica

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. My package was delivered and there was a name mix-up since there were two guests named Emily — totally understandable. One of the front desk staff handled it kindly and professionally and I really appreciated his help. However the female agent on duty on June 17th around 6:50 PM was incredibly rude and dismissive. When I asked for her name she refused to give it. For someone in a front-facing hospitality role this was the most unprofessional interaction I have ever had at a hotel. The property itself is nice but that kind of attitude from staff is simply not acceptable

Not what I'd expect from a Hyatt centric. First one of the rooms wasn't ready to check in at 345. They say check in is at 3. The front desk to include the manager was not helpful at all. I tried to check in and my name wasn't in the reservation. I get the rules and understand that they don't want to flex, but they had no issue holding the line when I didn't have what I needed but when they didn't have the room ready they didn't seem to care. Then when I came back down to get the second room they said they needed the card AGAIN (which of course I didn't have because I came from the pool) and acted like I wasn't just there an hour ago and couldn't use the card I had shown them earlier. OBTW it was the EXACT same person that checked me in. Great location but the rooms... Are you kidding me? We have 2x queen beds in 2 rooms for 6 guests (2x adults and 4x kids) There is not a single drawer to store clothes in. There is a closet. But no dresser anywhere in sight tons of wasted space under the desk and tv console but not a place to put a folded piece of clothing. 1x suitcase holder but I mean come on. This is a joke. We've stayed at numerous Hyatt centrics, this place is hands down the worst proximity to the beach is what you're paying for and that's it. Pass on this place and stay someplace else

Very nice hotel quite accommodating excellent customer service.

The hotel is very overpriced. The breakfast was ridiculous - slow, limited. This was not a buffet, but a set meal, with no selection. For a Business trip, as I was, should have definitely stayed at Hilton nearby I like Hyatt in general and have stayed in many Hyatt's over 35 years, but within Hyatt properties this is definitely close to the bottom.

Special recognition to Carolina Mendoza from Housekeeping. We stayed for nearly two weeks, and she consistently kept our room spotless, organized, and welcoming every single day. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and dedication made our stay significantly more enjoyable. Housekeeping staff often work behind the scenes, but Carolina truly deserves recognition for the outstanding service she provides. Thank you for helping make our stay memorable.

The staff is polite and friendly. The location is convenient. However, the hotel itself is in need of renovation. We arrived and it was very windy and cool, and the air conditioning was very strong, making it very cold in the hallways. The breakfast leaves much to be desired.

I had a quick stay here. Everything was fine. Biggest issue was I booked and paid for a king bed. I got a queen bed. I got in late and was too tired to deal with it when I got in. In the morning I was checking out and informed them of the mistake. I was informed it was not the wrong room, and that that was indeed a room with a king. I sleep on a king every night, it was absolutely not a king bed.

We had such a wonderful stay at Hyatt Centric Delfina Santa Monica. What made the experience truly special was the staff. From the moment we arrived, everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely kind. Every interaction felt warm and personal, and it was clear that the team truly cares about their guests. The hotel itself was beautiful, clean, and comfortable, but it was the exceptional service that stood out the most. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, always greeting us with a smile and making us feel right at home. It’s rare to find a hotel where the people leave such a lasting impression, but that’s exactly what happened here. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so enjoyable. I can’t wait to come back and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Santa Monica.

Great location, nice pool, attentive staff, room amenities commensurate with the price, and available accessories that make all the difference (self-service bicycles).

The destination fee is ridiculous; it's not only pointless but also makes reimbursement difficult. It's an old-fashioned scam. It's much better to stay at the nearby Hilton, which is safer and has much better staff. But the system is ruining this hotel. Let this kind of place, which can't make America great again, go out of business!

We stayed here recently and had a pleasant experience! The manager Brian was very helpful in resolving a parking issue we had, and we appreciated his proactive attitude and effective communication.

From the moment I arrived, I knew my stay would be exceptional. The concierge team was incredibly attentive and friendly. Since I arrived early, I only expected to drop off my luggage, but staff proactively searched the system to find an available room so I could check in immediately. My room smelled wonderfully clean and featured luxurious, silky bedding alongside a beautiful view. The bathroom was equally impressive, complete with high-quality toiletries and a beautiful marble shower/tub. Thanks to the cool, dark, and quiet atmosphere, I slept perfectly. Additionally, the pool area was pristine, offering comfortable furniture, fresh towels, and a relaxing view of palm trees.
