About this place Unicorn

Unicorn is a gay bar and club in Seattle’s Capitol Hill, bringing a fun, festive carnival atmosphere to the local LGBTQ+ scene.

This place is loud, colorful, and just plain fun. You can grab a drink, sure, but they also do food, so it’s easy to make a night of it. Expect standard pub grub, but that’s not really why you’re here. The real draw is the amusement park vibe: claw machines, pull tabs, and a photo booth for drunken selfies.

Weekends are when Unicorn really comes alive. Think karaoke, special brunches like Mimosa with Mama, or live performances. It’s part of a small local group that includes Narwhal, another Capitol Hill spot, so if you like this particular brand of maximalist entertainment, you’ll find it concentrated here.

For what's on when, check their website before you go.

Second time here. Brought friends visiting from out of town. Guy with long hair working the front door (6/6/26) made disparaging comments about the state they were from as he checked their ID’s. Then, as we were leaving, we asked for suggestions of places to visit nearby to which he called us “tourists.” Turns out the place that labels itself as “inclusive” and “safe” is neither of those things. We won’t be back

I had a great time with the fun atmosphere it's easy to meet a new friend. When my card fell out of my pocket at the unicorn, I was able to find it with the help of complete strangers. 🙂 This place is a true unicorn, mythical.
