About this place Plymouth Housing Group

Plymouth Housing Group is a Seattle organization that’s helped people get off the streets and into stable homes since 1980. Its roots are in the Plymouth Congregational Church, whose downtown Seattle members started the group to help their homeless neighbors. The organization is proudly LGBTQ+-affirming. That means they get the specific problems queer people run into when they’re trying to find housing and support. They offer resources and advocacy in a space that actually makes LGBTQ+ people feel welcome. If you’re in Seattle, whether you live here or are just passing through, it’s worth knowing about. Maybe you need housing help yourself, or just want to find out about other LGBTQ+-friendly resources in the area. You can find Plymouth Housing Group at 2113 3rd Avenue in Seattle, or check out their website at plymouthhousing.org. It’s the kind of grassroots, values-driven work that makes a real difference for queer communities.

Such a completely mismanaged organization from top to bottom. They will lie to your face and not think twice about the damage it causes anyone.

Love my view and the wonderful Plymouth Housing staff at Blake House, truly a blessing for which I am humbled.

I arrived at this building a week ago with a friend to procure his fathers belongings due to his passing. Upon arrival I had seen used needles strung about, garbage everywhere, and the smell was not desirable. The gentleman at the front office was very helpful and guided us to the elevators and told us where we were going. When we reached my friends fathers apt. the hall way smelled of cigarette smoke. When we entered the apt. someone had been inside due to the burner on the stove being on high with a tin burner cover on the burner. It was 100deg or better in that small apt with the burner on high I am suprised the building didn't catch fire. When we departed the room for the lobby we explained to the gentleman at the office what we had seen. He said he would investigate the needles, the smell of smoke inside the building and who stole football jerseys and other items from my friends fathers apt. Not what I had expected at all from such a nice building from the outside. The inside was clean but the smell of cig. smoke was crazy. Thank you to the gentleman at the front desk for your help and concern.
