Le Méridien Tampa, The Courthouse

A great hotel with everything you need. Big clean rooms, great service. Great restaurant on the second floor. Good conference rooms.

What a great hotel!!! In full disclosure, I didn't stay at the hotel but wish I had. My husband and I stopped in on Sunday, May 3rd to visit to learn about the historic nature of the hotel. I spoke with a young gentleman from the front desk staff (forgot to ask his name). He was so personable and gracious and knew a lot about the hotel's history. I left with a great impression of the hotel and would love to stay here when I visit Tampa again. Great staff member!

Lelithia was absolutely amazing. We came in to town for a girls weekend and she welcomed us with such a warm welcome. She was so helpful with a difficult reservation question. She deserves all the praise.

Nice clean hotel. My room and bathroom was huge.

Surprisingly quiet for downtown Tampa. Star gem tucked inside an old courthouse. Very cool interior and a piece of Hillsborough history that is a must visit. Walking distance to tons of restaurants and other activities. Staff is so welcoming and friendly.

Built in the old courthouse with amazing architecture. Mostly quiet. Wish the bathtubs were deeper. Not super close to anything but very walkable to everything Easy walk to Curtis park will get you to the water taxi and everything

My clients wanted to have their engagement photos taken at Le Meridien and Marielle Santo was extremely accommodating with getting me permit info and contract right away on a Sunday! I'm eternally grateful to Marielle for her excellent service and help!

If you have a nice vehicle absolutely do not book a room here and valet. Luckily my room is at the front of the hotel so I got to watch the valet unnecessarily rev my vehicle as they brought it up. Great way to disrespect the guest of the day - They responded so I will add to this. I am a Marriott silver elite member, I frequent Tampa staying at the Edition or Epicurean Hotel normally. This was my first time at this hotel. I’ve never had an issue with valet! The valet moved my vehicle a total of 4 times, not a single time did I complain up until the 4th time. When both my fiancee and I watched them pull the truck up from the window revving it up. When I went down and told the manager at the desk he just looked at me and did nothing so I confronted the valet myself. The valet driver kept saying multiple time “that things loud man”. The exhaust is only “loud” over 3000 rpm and on start up. It is a flow master 50 series American thunder exhaust system. Designed not to be loud unless stepping on it. After multiple times lying about the miss handling of my truck I told the driver what I should do… never said that I was going to do anything. The driver then followed me back in the hotel demanding my keys. I went back to my room then back down to speak to the valet manager and hotel manager. On my way down a guest that was outside during the incident said it was crazy the way they were driving my vehicle and said he would have been heated it. I ended up speaking to both managers and they agreed to remove the valet fee then let me self park. I went back to my room and then the hotel manager called saying I had to leave. Which I had no problem with. I booked at the JW Marriott and had absolutely no issues there. The valet was great and no one revved my vehicle to the moon the whole time they had the truck.
