Red Carpet Inn Gettysburg, PA

The room was ok for the price. It was clean. The location is absolutely perfect for a stay in Gettysburg. Our AC broke after one night (we had a 2 night stay) and the young lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful. We got a new room and this one was a little newer. So all in all it was ok, if you expect a good clean room with all you need for a 1 or 2 night stay you get it here for fair price.

Place is a real dump save your money sleep in your car

I was way overcharged in my opinion, same prices as hotels online, not as nice, in room monitoring which I believe is illegal. I wouldn't trust any motels after staying at the few I have in Gettysburg.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. We walked into our room and we were immediately hit with a musty smell. Walked into the bathroom to find dirty towels, further into our room search we found dirt and all kinds of yellow stains on the comforter/sheets and dead bugs on the floor. Went to the front desk to show the owner and her only reply was “it’s not dirty they are just stained and there’s nothing we can do about it” I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Wow people either live or hate this place! We loved it. Now it’s no Marriott, not even close but the beds were clean and comfy, the location was quiet and the owner friendly and helpful We were just passing through on our way north and needed basic amenities. This fit the bill. We’ll be back next year

The owners live on site, they were a great help to me after I sold my house. I'm looking forward to staying there again..

The minute my family and I stepped into the room it smelled off. 20 minutes later, I got sick. Sore throat, congested, headache, etc. Seriously, every time we were out of the hotel room, I was fine, but as soon as I stepped back in it would start again. Not even medicine helped. Sheets were stained. Went to take a shower and the towels are stained. Toilet seats are chipped. Stink bugs in the beds and peeking out from behind the paintings. Almost got locked in our own room multiple times despite the door being unlocked. You have to walk behind the motel to let your dogs go to the bathroom. There should be a dog park there or something, especially if they want the dogs to go in a specific area. Location isn't bad, we were able to get to anything in Gettysburg fairly quick.

Abysmal quality rooms for the price. Rusted fixtures, cracks in the wall, and the only motel I've ever stayed in where a hot shower sets off the fire alarm. As far as I could tell the rooms also had no A/C controls and very few electrical outlets.

Room was dated, cleanliness was 4/10 as the bathroom was clean but the sink area was not, room was damp and smelled like carpet cleaner. Location wasn’t bad, only 5 minutes from town and the parks.

Room was less than average, AC didn't work.
