Came to this area for a two-days event. It was conveniently located off the US-15 in Thurmont. It sat at the middle of a hill, so it was very quiet. There were parking lots on both sides of the building. The lobby was small but functional. Received warm welcome upon walking in. There was some moldy smell along the hallway, but did not smell that once the room door was shot. The two-bedrooms was in expected size. There was a small fridge but no microwave. The bathroom was very aging: mirror had worn edges; bath tub had stains; the tower hook kept falling down. The air conditioner and the window curtain worked properly. The complementary breakfast was a joke: there were energy bars, cereals, coffee, milk, and that was all. Our late checkout was granted.

The walls are so dilapidated that the paint is peeling off on its own. The toilet ventilation system makes a terrible noise, like a factory 🚤. So it's not recommended to turn it on. Even worse, I received terrible service. The woman yelled at me and my children because we arrived at 2 a.m. after our long journey.
