The ambiance has dropped off since our last stay. Staff has turned mediocre, just ok. There was mention that "we're a boutique hotel, so ......". No regular coffee for any room at present, their shipment hasn't come in. The wood slatted window shades, one totally broken. Toilet seat not tight, slides back and forth. Supposed to be robes, none in room. I inquired and was told, we're going away from providing them. Lobby closed til 7a this morning, Sat, so no coffee there. Hook for towels hanging in bathroom just fell off the wall. This is a historic hotel, and now seems to have lost that aura. Bits and pieces still around but you don't feel it like before- maybe respect?

Great place for a weekend getaway with the wife. We got spa king suite and it was nice. Only thing I say is that it has a jetted tub, but the jets are very very weak in the tub we had. Also know that there are no ice machines, if you want ice, you'll need to get it from the front desk, and the front desk is not open all night.

Incredible vibe, location, AND landscaping. This place is a complete oasis in Tucson. Pretty much the only place I'll consider staying at when coming thru town.
