Besides the rats eating part of my grill all was just fine the valley said they were not responsible for what the animals do so wouldn't that a good answer now I get to replace my grill at my charge🤔

If I could give zero stars I would, and I've only given a few bad reviews in my life. From the moment we arrived our stay was truly awful. We booked one of their best rooms with a balcony, had them confirm our stay, and even talked to someone in person to make sure everything was squared away. When we went to check in, it took ten minutes before they admitted they'd overbooked our room and there were only basic suites left. We asked to be refunded and they claimed they couldn't, then they claimed they couldn't even refund the difference in the prices of the rooms as the one we booked was much more expensive than the one they were offering us. We asked to speak to the owner and they said they didn't know how to contact him. They took forever before someone even uttered an apology on the situation, acting the whole time like we were a burden on them and being very rude and bickering with each other. The woman said she should have "taken her purse and ran" instead of coming in to work that day. We were offered absolutely nothing in the way of costomer service. We left an email with the owner and waited several days to see if anything would be done in any way but it hasn't. Luckily we booked through Chase so they will take care of us and cancel the charge, but even they couldn't reach anyone in magement or ownership. The door to our room was very hard to close as the lock wasn't working right. The pullout bed made it to where you couldn't really fit by to leave the room. The onsite restaurant apparently didn't exist anymore. Couldn't find a vending machine and their snack room was completely barren. We doordashed for dinner. The elevators were barely functional, with tape holding on the button panel. Location-wise, there is no free parking on site and valet is very expensive. We tried to walk to a nearby Jamaican restaurant that was closed even though it was during their open hours. On our walk back a police officer pulled up and walked up to a man that had apparently been stalking us. There is a very large homeless population in the park across the street and we were clearly not safe walking around at 8pm. This experience has definitely dropped our trust in Hilton as a whole. I thought they had a reputation to uphold but so far nobody could care less about how we were treated in this exchange. Bad business all around.

Probably the nicest hotel I've stayed at in a long time. Obviously, this is a dated hotel - but it is very well maintained. The rooms are spacious and the staff was very helpful when we showed up on our motorcycles- they had a special area they let us park our bikes in.

Great hotel, loved the history and the location right in downtown. Thankfully I chose the 4th floor and not the 6th where all the ghosts hang out. Parking is all valet, but I appreciated them tipping us off to the street parking since we were leaving early the next morning for the airport.

My stay was not as I thought it would be. First, the photos of the hotel exterior are misleading. They must be virtually enhanced. I entered through that door, and it is a hot mess. Clearly doing an exterior makeover of the landscape. When you walk inside, it smells old. You need to carry your luggage up a bunch of steps then back down to the little front desk. The rooms themselves are great. But this could be lipstick on a pig because the toilet was broken and would not flush - obviously slow drains. Old pipes. Location was great for work - but beware: this is a food island. There's nothing that's walkable nearby to eat after 4pm. The whole downtown seems to shut down.

Rooms are clean and spacious enough, but the lack of parking in lieu of an expensive valet and the extensive homeless population all around the hotel make this a no-go for any future stays for us!

Rooms are VERY dated, neds (both king and pullout) were uncomfortable with very worn mattresses, pillows were flat when you lay on them. I asked for more pillows and was told they were out but was offered a towel or blanket instead (that we would have to get dressed and come downstairs to get). Balcony upgrade is not worth the money. There is no furniture so you can only go stand and lool at the tall building across the street. There was only half a roll of toilet tissue in our bathroom. Took an hour to get another. Breakfast sucked. Scrambled eggs were sitting in water. Yuck! Sitting area couches are very worn and dirty. Valet parking is pricey and bot worth it. If you are comfortable parking on the street, I recommend that. It is a 2 room suite but there is no door to separate the living space from the sleep space. Lighting is not good. If you can, stay at another (any other) Hilton property. This is one of the poorest representations of the Hiton brand I have experienced. Im highly disappointed. I wish could have checked out last night. After a 4 hour drive, I was looking to relax. That did not (and is not) happening here. This is a substandard hotel at best. There is absolutely no reason not to stay somewhere, anywhere else. Avoid this hotel at all costs.
