About this place Center Arts

The DC Center is where Washington's LGBTQ+ community goes to meet, learn, and find support.

You’ll find The DC Center on the 14th Street corridor. It's a community hub for LGBTQ+ people and their allies here in the nation's capital.

They focus on three things: social support, arts and culture, and health and fitness. So if you're looking for local connections, creative programs, or wellness resources, this is a good place to start. The Center also backs community development and sponsorship programs, which makes it an important player in DC's LGBTQ+ scene.

When you're in Washington, places like this offer something beyond the usual bars. It’s where you meet people, learn about local LGBTQ+ culture, and tap into the support systems that make a city feel truly welcoming. For what's on, check their website: thedccenter.org.

I have been attending this venue since I was a little girl. And I now take my daughter. And we are always greated with smiles and open arms. I love how it always feels like coming home. Even when you are going out to the theater!
