Was walking through the National Mall near the Washington Monument and accidentally crossed through a Volo game. Multiple players yelled at me, which felt unnecessary. A simple “hey, could you please walk around?” would have been totally fine. I understand games are happening, but this is public space and people will occasionally pass through. It would be great if Volo encouraged players to be respectful in those situations, it reflects better on the organization and the community they’re trying to build.

Love Volo! I’ve met great people playing soccer with Volo in DC and can’t wait for the next season to start!

Volo’s been a great way for me to continue playing soccer in an organized way and also meet new people. Was lucky enough to get invited to play with a group of people (now friends) a couple years ago and we’re still going strong

Volo has been such a great addition to my time in DC — not only have I been able to continue to play a sport I love (soccer!) but also (despite only ever choosing ‘workout and competition’ for my reason for playing) did meet someone special lol (plus am now part of a great team I consider friends) :)

Volo DC is a great way to enjoy fun, friendly competition with a variety of sports options to choose from. Our team has played for years and it’s been a positive experience, with the Volo DC team happy to work out any issues we ran into.
