Wichita Pride

Wichita Pride, Inc. is the volunteer-run nonprofit behind Wichita Pride, the city's flagship LGBTQ+ celebration, held each year in late June. In 2026 the main day is Saturday, June 27, with a roughly one-mile parade beginning on Main Street in front of the Historic Sedgwick County Courthouse downtown, followed by a festival at the Century II Performing Arts & Convention Center (225 W Douglas Ave). The multi-day program has historically included a kickoff concert and the Mx. Wichita Pride Pageant. Carrying the tagline "Surviving and Thriving," the organization is the best single source for current Pride dates, routes, and related events; it is based at 800 N Market St. Details are at wichitapride.org.
