Patrick Cronin has no business working security. He has a horrible attitude and doesnt adhere to any semblance of appropriate training. I am retired law enforcement, he is what I would identify as an impersonator. The hotel should be aware he is a liability. He should be aware to monitor his temper and his behavior. When my group encountered him, a simple misunderstanding quickly devolved into a situation so volatile I almost had to use force and equipment on Cronin. Fortunately for him, another security officer intervened and did display proper de-escalation training.

Visited for brunch and got in on the FIFA World Cup welcome of the Ivory Coast National team. The meal service was mediocre for a 5 stars establishment. The location is close to the park, historic and business areas.

Hot water did not work in my room in the mornings when I needed to get ready for a work day. Room service arrived, a $70 steak was super fatty to the point that I could not eat majority of it. Mini bar in rooms is not stocked at all, how is this a star hotel? Front desk doesn’t even have snacks at night. Check in experience was subpar. As a highest tier member of the rewards program, there was no acknowledgment or upgrade offered. The view in the room was of the HVAC next door. This simply is NOT a 5 star hotel. Just terrible.
