Quality Inn & Suites Hanes Mall

It's in a location close to shops, restaurants, and a gas station. My experience was very good; I was able to sleep peacefully.

The good: the room was clean. The bad: shady looking area, 100 dollar deposit at check in, they do weekly rentals, pillows were the size of throw pillows and when we asked for more they said they had 1 extra but no pillow case.

The room is clean even the vinyl floor. When we checked in they made us wait because housekeeping was not through yet. (No big deal except he felt the need to lie to us about check in time.) Don't expect much for breakfast waffles and cereal. The bed was okish but we are sore this morning. Not sure we would come back here. Because it matters we will say that it seems pretty safe just not a typical Quality Inn they are cutting corners here.

We had 2 small children and were put in the furthest building away from office. The room next to us was having a party until early morning and was loud. Bed sheets were dirty, toilet was dirty, bath tub looked like someone peed on edge and bugs on bathroom wall. Would not recommend and will never stay there again.

I’ve never rented a more uninviting, unappealing motel/hotel room. Picture It, cheaper than IKEA looking grey stick furniture on a grey floor with a faded grey bedspread and beige walls. One piece of artwork in the bathroom and a mirror. Cold and depressing. I guess this is what they mean by a ‘Standard’ Room. They really should draw a giant sad face on the wall. I have definitely stayed in more attractive dorm rooms and youth hostels. The bed is comfortable enough If you’re not too worried about how clean it is. Breakfast? Free breakfast?? Really? I went to check out their breakfast 45 minutes after they opened and all they had were a few stale bagels and some individually wrapped sliced white bread along with an assortment of fruit and one or two dry cereal selections and a waffle maker. All starch and sugar, no protein. At least shell out some dough for some hot powdered eggs. This is my second time staying at a Quality Inn. I should’ve learned my lesson the first time because that was just as bad. If I had an unlimited budget I would stay somewhere else but this is the opening of furniture market in North Carolina and all accommodations are packed.

Old hotel in bad part of town staff not friendly. No reinvestment in the property it's like going back in time. Would not recommend I would rather sleep 💤😴 in my car.

I made a reservation for double room with 2 double beds and when I got there they only gave me one room with two beds. people hanging outside walking around I didn't feel safe it was terrible I left without getting refunded and we got another room

Will not refund your deposit. Stay away. I do not smoke. No pets. Only one night. My brother died at hospital. Watch out for these guys.

Great basic hotel. This hotel created suites from two adjoining standard rooms, so the suites are huge. Our suite actually had two bathrooms and two TVs! Suites also have a small fridge and microwave. To be clear, this isn't a cozy place with nice decor. It's very basic. However the rooms and linens are clean, the wifi is strong, and the free breakfast is fresh. I deducted one star because there are no chain or slide locks on the doors. I would not have felt fully secure staying here alone for that reason. I would recommend anyone staying here alone bring two additional door locks for a suite.

I'm a OTR truck driver and has been in the Winston Salem area for the last two weeks. I stayed at this location twice in the last two weeks. Each time I stayed there I was accused of smoking in the room. My first stay the previous guest, I assume took the smoking detector off the wall and I was accused of smoking in the room. They tried to withhold my deposit, claiming I removed it therefore I was smoking in the room. Stayed again yesterday. Once again I was accused of smoking in the room, claiming there was an odor of smoke in the room. In what world can you assume that someone has broken the rules and penalize someone off and assumptions. To make matters worse there were bugs in my bed my face has broken out. I wasn't going to make a big deal about it, I was just wasn't going to stay at this location anymore. When they chose to keep my deposit, that was something I could not accept. The deposit was only a hundred dollars, the money has a part to play, more importantly they took it from me off an assumption. YOU ARE WARN STAY AWAY
