A small but very nice motel in a beautiful setting just on the edge of the town of Joshua Tree. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the pool is refreshing and there is an interesting historic connection with Gram Parsons. The rooms surround a small desert courtyard. It's a small operation and the staffed desk hours are limited, but the room pass code works on the exterior doors so you can come and go as you please. The staff is friendly and good at recommending local places to eat. The motel common spaces were being renovated when we were there, but there will be more to do in the future, including provisions for live entertainment.

I had an absolute great experience here. The location was great, very close to the park entrance, as well as the main drag in JT for shops and cafes. The room was clean and really cute. There's a nice large pool as well. The service was EXCELLENT, everyone we interacted with was so pleasant and ensured we had a great stay.

The Joshua Tree Inn is the best accommodation I've had on my trip so far. Although over 60 years old, it's the most charming and enchanting motel I've encountered. The entire property is in excellent condition, and the pool and surrounding area are simply superb. The room is a good size, with its own patio, a large refrigerator in a separate room, a coffee maker with freshly ground coffee and plenty of sugar and other extras. There's also a small desk, the air conditioning is tolerably quiet, and there's a ceiling fan with a light, which is perfectly adequate in the evening. All in all, an 11 out of 10. I highly recommend this motel. It's not far from the town of Joshua Tree, nor from the park itself, and for shopping, you can go to the neighboring town of Yucca Valley, about 10 km away.
