We enjoyed our stay. The pool was clean. The room was basic but had everything we needed and was clean. The air-conditioner made clunking noises, but worked well. The hotel was right off the main road making it easy to get to.

The hotel is showing it's age and we were a little bummed that the pool was a little on the cold side, which is why I didn't give it a 5. I would have done 4.75 if possible. It's clean, plenty of pool towels, comfy beds and pillows. Staff was pleasant. We only really dealt with them for check-in/check-out for our 1 night stay. Location is only about 10 minutes from the main entrance and Visitor Center for Joshua Tree National Park. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Free Wi-Fi, decent # of channels on tv (including HBO), and simple, continental breakfast included. Definitely a great value for the price.
