Hotel Trópico is a gay sauna located in Luanda, Angola's capital city. As a dedicated LGBTQ+ venue, it provides a welcoming space for gay and bisexual men to relax and connect in a social environment. The sauna category of venues typically offers thermal facilities, relaxation areas, and social spaces designed with discretion and comfort in mind. For current information about opening hours, specific amenities, membership requirements, and any house rules, we recommend checking their website or contacting them directly before your visit. Excellent hotel, in Luanda. Excellent staff and front desk staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Mr. Simao goes out to his way to assist. Hotel General Manager, Mr. Riu thank you for your attention to detail and your friendly service. Trópico has the best gym, sauna and steam room facilities, including a pool. Will be looking forward to coming back. Thank you.
I had a fantastic experience at Hotel Trópico in Luanda. The hotel offers a perfect combination of comfort, quality, and convenience. The rooms are spacious, modern, and well-maintained, making it a great place to relax after a busy day. The restaurants are excellent, with a variety of delicious dishes to choose from – a true highlight of my stay. Whether for business or leisure, the hotel has everything you need, including well-equipped business facilities that make working on the go effortless. The staff are professional, welcoming, and always ready to help, which makes the overall atmosphere warm and inviting. I highly recommend Hotel Trópico to anyone visiting Luanda
Dear Hotel Management, I'm writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with my recent stay at Hotel Tropico. Upon arrival, I was informed by the receptionist that there was no booking in my name. After attempting to resolve this with the company (VALARIS), the receptionist called me and said to me, I have received a call from the company representative and instructed me, to offer you a meal only, which I have declined. Instead of accommodating my original room request, as I needed a room to rest after a long flight. When I got at work the company representative said, I have instructed the hotel first to give you a meal only because I have forgotten that you're coming from abroad but, when I remembered that you're coming from abroad, I have sent an email and called the hotel personally instructed hotel to allocate you a room which he has Shawn a proof of email been sent to the hotel and the hotel confirmed that will allocate a room for me. which the hotel never did. No room was allocated to me, and to my surprise, the hotel sent an email to the company (VALARIS) stating I had checked in and requesting payment for a room I never occupied. When I personally contacted the hotel telephonic to dispute this, they couldn't find any record of my booking or checked-in. This is unacceptable and unprofessional, especially considering I was left stranded for 6 hours after a long flight.
Room maintenance: Although the room is spacious and comfortable, there is a very strong musty smell coming from the air conditioning duct. The mini-fridge is useless as it doesn't cool anything.
I was once a fan of this hotel, especially the saloon service to cut my hair but the service has indeed fallen flat, barbar that cuts your hair is absolutely miserable. The staff working at the gym entrance extremely ruid and will speak very abruptly to tell you to wait.
