The Rainbow Identity Association is Botswana's first organization dedicated to transgender, gender-diverse and intersex people, registered in 2010 and based in Gaborone. It provides peer support, health navigation, help with name and gender documentation, and public-education work across the country, and it has been a steady partner in Botswana's broader LGBTIQ+ movement.
