Overview
Big Gay Sunday (BGS) is an alternative to corporate PRIDE with great food, friends, and vibes! A queer-inclusive space for ALL!
Friendsgiving at the AT Center!
Celebrate gratitude, connection, and chosen family this season at our brand-new home base, the beautifully restored and historic A.T. Center (c. 1969) in the Silver Lake foothills!
Join us for a joyful Friendsgiving potluck filled with incredible food featuring roasts from Honey Baked Ham, community spirit, and togetherness. We are thrilled to feature a live performance from vocal sensation Dani Lion, alongside other special surprises throughout the afternoon!
Bring a favorite dish or drink to share, settle in, and kick off the holiday season surrounded by warmth, laughter, and in a space built and designed specifically for the LGBTQIA+ community.
Why We Do It:
Our holiday potlucks aim to combat isolation while reimagining what LGBTQ+ community could be. Because we believe Pride = Health. Fulfilling a vital commitment to being a year-round, healthy and fun alternative to corporate Pride events.

About the venue
Griffith Park, the large hillside park above Los Feliz, has been Los Angeles's best-known outdoor gay cruising area since at least the 1960s, mostly on the trails and wooded slopes away from the main attractions. Activity is daytime and low-key, and it changes as areas are cleared or patrolled…
“Massive urban wilderness — trails, picnic areas, golf, zoo adjacency, and random horse sightings. We did a moderate hike and still only saw a fraction. Cell service drops in canyons. Download a map offline if you're trail-hopping.” — Victoria Ortiz, Google
“The best part of the day, don't skip this activity” — Juan Carlos Ramirez Venot, Google
