Gardens are lovely, location and pool are nice. But the apartment was well below average In particular the issues we had with our stay were: - Shower head in ensuite is so crusted up and calcified the water spray from the head is not pleasant and the head itself drops down and faces the wall. The bracket is worn out and won’t hold the head up. I had to cable tie it to the upright to use it. This has clearly been an issue with that shower for a while. - When pulling back bed sheet on bed in main bedroom on first day there was sand, dust and hair in the bed where the pillow meets the sheets and blanket. The sheet was a new clean sheet as it had crease marks in it. Hadn’t been slept in, almost as if someone who had sandy hair had layed on the bed while it was made and all the sand had collected in front and under the pillow. - Tv remote in living room wasn’t working - Detergent bottle was empty on arrival - No doormat to wipe feet. - Spa was locked the first night, open the second. The water in the spa is stagnant and smells and looks very unpleasant. Floaty bits in it. - The bed in the master room was like something from a third world country, very uncomfortable and hard reinforcement in the middle. Feels like there were timber pieces in the middle between the two bed bases protruding into the mattress? - Windows are old and poorly maintained and don’t seal. In particular the front window in the living room is bowed and all the cold wind rushes in - also unable to close as there is a dehumidifier hose hanging out the window frame going into the garden. - Furniture in living room was rather stained and grubby and also very uncomfortable and filthy. Rubbish and scraps behind and under seat cushions - no onsite staff or management. Managed remotely
Rooms were cute and nicely decorated with a beach vibe. Amazing location, right on the beach. Nice surroundings, water dragons everywhere which my son loved! My only negatives were no kids under 12 allowed in the spa, and there's no Cafe or restaurants on-site except for a small Thai byo restaurant which had very overpriced and average tasting food. Aside from those things, it was great
