Basic but clean

Felt like a minimum security prison cell😅 could almost reach both walls with my arms stretched out but was cheap, clean and served a purpose when I was stuck in GC for the night. Had trouble contacting staff at 5pm on a sunday to get in to my room. They also charge $100 security deposit that wasnt mentioned when I booked the room.

We had a wonderful stay and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The place was very clean, well-maintained, and comfortable, which made our visit even more enjoyable. Everything was just as described, and we would definitely recommend it to others. We would happily stay again in the future.

You have what you need and the price is excellent especially for your wallet, you have more money to spend on yourself. There’s outdoor dining, we just bought food and prepared it in the shared kitchen. The workers are very helpful and courteous. If you want a cheap place that’s clean, I highly recommend this place.

We were given a cupboard with 2 single beds! I said excuse me we booked a deluxe freshly renovated Queen room. After paying $20 extra for parking which it had said was included on site. Then hit with 2 single beds for a married couple wtaf! We got our actual Queen room after complaining. Tiny room wanted to cancel but being Sat 2.30pm no options so had to stay!. Never again! Then I had a shower to go out both towels had sand in them! Never in my life in any hotel anywhere in the world have I Had 2 clean towels with sand seriously ! Sent him hubby down to complain. He came back with 2 new towels no sand. No new toilet roll in bathroom had a half used 1 and no soap in bathroom. I was not happy at all. I asked for a wine glass no had none . I'm not a whinger but for $190 a night I expect certain levels of hygiene etc. This is a backpackers advertised as a hotel. Do not come here I won't ever again ! Totally disappointing spend more go elsewhere. Absolutely crap and false advertising photos are glammed up nothing like how it really is.

As a part of my Sperm Donation Australia Tour of Queensland, I stayed here for a night, affordable pricing and good location short walk to Surfers. Parking was little expensive though 28 dollars a night.

Mixed Stay – Great Location but Needs Serious Updating. The biggest positive about this hotel is definitely the location. It’s a fantastic distance from the beach, which made getting around really easy and convenient. If you’re planning to spend most of your time by the water, the location is hard to beat. Another plus was the parking. It’s available for $20 AUD per day, which is reasonable for the area, but you do need to pre-book it in advance, so make sure you organise that before arriving. The rooms themselves are very basic. They’re clean and the air conditioning works really well, which was appreciated, especially on warmer days. However, the overall condition of the room feels quite dated. The bathroom in particular needs a major overhaul. It feels old and tired and could really benefit from a proper renovation. While everything was functional and clean, it definitely doesn’t match the price you’d expect to pay for accommodation in the area. Overall: great location, clean rooms, good A/C and reasonably priced parking, but the hotel would really benefit from updating the rooms and especially the bathrooms to bring the standard up.

The room had air con, the staff were very friendly, the room was clean, they supplied some shower toiletries, i was happy with my stay.

The rooms aren't really the same as described. They're quite small, and the shower was filthy. Plus, there's very little soap provided. But that's just a minor detail compared to something truly concerning: the unethical service and business strategy of threatening customers with an extra $20 charge for even a 10-minute late checkout unless they leave a 5-star review on Booking.com. This is really worrying because many reviews are consequently fake and influenced by the threat of losing money.

We booked a room that was adequate for the price we paid. However, we were asked to leave a positive review in exchange for our deposit, as we arrived 30 minutes late for check-in.

This building is on its last legs. First impression - the room was tiny and basic. There was mould all over the bathroom. Then the experience itself - not a great start having to wait 10 minutes for service at reception as the lady was tending to a room - was just one staff member on. Saying that - from then on she was very friendly and helpful. The walls of the hotel must be paper thin. We could hear everything going on in the other rooms. Sounds like someone staying in another room could do with more fibre in their diet. We were there for a music festival - as was most of the hotel. The other patrons were running around and screaming all through the night. One of the worst sleeps I’ve ever had. Honestly - if you’re a patron - look elsewhere. If you own this hotel - sell off the land or tear it down and build something new.
