Best spot in Sydney! The staff are incredible!

My booking was not updated to the room I had requested in my earlier booking and when we arrived we were allocated a room that was not only noisy but had small cockroaches in it. The window rattled and was not noise proof and we were woken many times during the night by all sorts of street noises - like sirens, screaming drunks, Harley-Davidson noise etc. The decor was daggy and almost falling apart in some places. The only good things were that staff were willing to hold our luggage for half the day before we left town and the location was excellent. Other than that I would not stay there again.

Old school pub. Happy hour weekdays, beers on the footpath.

Good drinks and atmosphere

Very much a case of you get what you pay for. My partner booked a room here. Our room (#30) was adjacent to the creaky lift and had a shared bathroom. The window was not glazed meaning you could hear every footstep and fart coming up from street level. There was an air conditioner that stirred the air which got increasingly hotter overnight. I would not book a room here. It's only advantage is being in the middle of almost everything in Sydney.

Great budget rooms, can be pretty noisy if a function is on the lower floors.

This hotel has a bar at the 1st floor and there is too loud music until 1:30 a.m. I could not sleep.
