The Westin Sydney

I like lower level room because it has high roof room. The room size is around 60m2 and carpeted so it is very much classic and ai love it. I saw the painter was painting the window flame when ai was heading to the rooms so seems like they maintain the building quite often. Big bath tub, you can stretch your legs and relax completely….. it healed my damaged body and mind so well. This is the Singapore based hotel and I like their service style pretty much more than American or European style. Asian style service is not too posh, warm and just like your close friend but not too close. I could feel I am well looked after. And they will clean your room when you are ready. It is not like only once room cleaning ( there are so many hotels in Sydney are time scheduled cleaning unfortunately ) so you can sleep in and enjoy your hotel life. After 5weeks busy travel, I needed to rest and our flight was arrived at 7:30 and arrived at the hotel around 10:00. I thought it is too early and the room is not ready but hotel reception staff provided room for us, she looks like an angel for me…..! Thank you! This hotel will be my “Sydney hotel” from now :) Will come back again and again. Very happy staying :) and room service meals were also very nice :) There is little bit noise at night but if you have ear plug, no problem :) I was deadly tired and nothing bothers me. (30th September 2024) updated ⭐️ 30th of September 2024 Second time to stay here. What is happening to this hotel? Slippers are cheapy super thin slippers like business hotel and bath robe belt is not ironed At all ….. I realised small details are more important for every good things. And by mistake, my platinum+diamond earring was vacuumed into the bath tub drain hole…. That was from my mom….. sigh… Did not have much luck this time :( ⭐️ 28th of October 3rd time to stay here. After house keeping people left, there is no tea cups left. So I asked them politely to bring new cup and saucers and it took over 45 minutes. I wanted to have nice tea time with cakes that I purchased before the concert and requested again over the phone but operator told me “ they are on their way “ and never arrived while I was in the room. I saw there is only one lady who is working at the reception when I came back. And there are 5-6 guests were waiting in the line. I thought maybe this hotel cuts money to hire enough members of staffs. And again, my bath robe belt was not ironed. Staffs are nice at least when I am facing but they should not cut the budget to hire people. 5 stars good looking hotel but maybe it is 4 stars inside….. And about the breakfast, the taste is average. Which means they have more chance to grow and chance to get new consumers. As a marketing result, if they can offer more better or super good food for the breakfast, people will happy to pay more. For example, Japanese business hotel Dormy INN, it used to be normal cheap business hotel but since they focus on their breakfast, people started to come to their hotel more and more. There is no other competitive hotels in Sydney with breakfast yet, this is the big business chance. “ Fullerton hotel’s breakfast is amazing “ reputation will promise more customers. Something local, something more international and tastes so good, better to send chefs to good hotels to learn about what is the good taste. Or hire someone who knows food well. ⭐️ 4th time to stay (2026) Stop flirting with another hotels anymore. Stop using another hotel website like booking.com. staffs are always nice and found and Mr.Red is gone. I miss him..... ( He was working in theorning breakfast restaurant ) I don't need to worry about anything in here, always treated with right distance which is not too friendly but polite and warm which is very ideal hotel people attitude for me.... Bath robe belt is always twisted, not ironed but I got used with it now. I love bed mattress,need to find which maker it is tomorrow before checking out. I often use this place after the long flight so mostly staying inside of the room all day long :)

Amazing location however I wouldn’t consider this a 5 star hotel. Heritage room seemed in need of a refresh with old carpet, scuff marks everywhere and evaporative aircon that was hardly functional. Limited interactions with staff, felt impersonal. Amazing location and beautiful building however probably better to just view the building as a visitor rather than staying at the hotel.

In the room we returned from the outing was a condom that had been used by someone. We didn't have a condom. I simply don't understand whose it belongs to and why it was placed next to our room's bed. The hotel said it would find out and let us know, but we haven't heard from it yet. This is not convincing at a five-star hotel.

Milly Simpson has superb service at the restaurant. She is always so welcoming. Love coming here for the shortbread cookies.

A very nice hotel located on Martin Place. The staff is helpful and welcoming. The breakfast, at $45 per person, is truly varied and plentiful.

Location is cfm gd. Book for 3 beds..chk in normal double. Need to change room after. Not detail enough. All toiletries only giv 2 instead 3. Overall design and built in bit old .

Awful hotel. To call this a 5 star hotel is a real stretch. Booked a clock tower view, got assigned an internal courtyard facing room. There is also noise pollution from music played at the bar late at night. I sent a parcel to the hotel that got bounced because the hotel reception did not sign for the parcel. Rooms are large but miserably decorated, old, and lined with musty carpets. Shower water temperature fluctuates wildly. Without any adjustment, 1 second the temperature is warm the next it is boiling hot. Service is abysmal. 0 hospitality. Long lines at check in and check out. Imagine calling yourself a 5 star hotel with no porter helping you load your luggage into the car. The porter out front WATCHED us load 4 pieces of luggage ourselves without offering any help. For the price, you absolutely should go somewhere else. Water temp, old rooms, and abysmal service is noted repeatedly across all reviews. The fact that these are not corrected over months says it all.

Beautiful hotel, rooms, fine dining to just coffee. Great location. Most of all spacious rooms, if you here for 3 nights living out of the suitcase, good to spread out your stuff.

Fullerton Hotel in its self is such a grandeur, with its imposing architecture. Hotel staff are very welcoming & accommodating once you stepped into the lobby & yeah the lobby is very big & wide that it can fit a large army of guests. We are booked for 5days & got three large tower de Luxe twin rooms for the entire family & we were very impressed with the beautiful rooms that we have, very much pleased with the comfort & coziness of the beddings & everything in between. Big, big shout out to Sir Carl who went above & beyond granting our requests & Ms Jenny for being so attentive & helpful. The buffet spread is quite extensive but it can also be upgraded & if we may suggest--- buffet spread could have more halal options. All in all, our hotel experience has been great & given the chance will surely comeback.
