A hard place to review as the staff are generally very friendly and welcoming, however they also come across as quite slow and not proactive at times. For example, on returning from Angkor we were immediately presented with cold towels and one staff member assisted us with an issue we were having with our bike at 5am. Cold towels and drinks when checking in also appreciated, as was packup breakfast when going to Angkor. However, the service around the pool was non existent and pool bar was completely empty. We had to ask reception when asking for pool towels, food and drinks. Cocktails also took 30 minutes or so to arrive. When they did turn up the drinks were very good but a shame to take so long and only reception to ask for service. There was no food available on the breakfast buffet as it was a la carte only. To have absolutely nothing to grab quickly before departing was unacceptable - no bread, fruit or even tea or coffee available. This was despite us informing them we would be checking out just after 7am. We left laundry in the laundry bag at 5am in the room. Although we should have handed to reception, the bag was still not sent to laundry by 3pm as staff only seem to clean rooms around 2pm. When we enquiried about this we wete told it would take 24 hrs despite this being after check out time. It was awkward leaving the hotel as we were asked to wait for them to check the room despite having paid our bill and free minibar. Having waited a few minutes with no breakfast available we just left and the staff member just shrugged. Other points - Great location between town and Angkor. Big supermarket next door. Pool good size and quiet place to stay. Has the potential to be a great hotel but for any longer stays over a couple of days would recommend staying elsewhere due to poor service and issues with laundry and breakfast.

Amazing hotel. Great room, big, clean, good aircon and a really nice shower and bathroom. The staff were fantastic and arranged all our tours which were flexible and great. Nice pool area. Museum was opposite and well worth a visit. Old Town was a 15min walk or get a tuk tuk for less than a dollar.

What a beautiful hotel. We have really enjoyed our week here. The wonderful staff, room, shower, pool, everything have been just perfect. The staff very kindly went through the Angkor Wat tours and sorted everything out for us. Our driver was amazing and even had a cooler in the car for our water. The hotel is in a great location too. The Angkor National Museum is literally right across the road and is definitely worth a visit. And a quick tuk tuk ride will get you into town. The free daily laundry up to 1kg was a great bonus too! I highly recommend the Sala Siem Reap Hotel.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The breakfast was excellent every morning with plenty of great options, and the overall value for the price was outstanding. The customer service truly made the experience special. A special thank you to Kimyon, the front desk manager, for her superior customer service and professionalism. She and her team went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and taken care of throughout our stay. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, value, and exceptional hospitality!

Fantastic hotel, wonderfully friendly staff. We left Siem Reap on an overnight bus at 10pm and they let us use the pool and the bar even though we'd already checked out. Very kind.

My wife and I stayed three nights at the Sala Siem Reap hotel and are extremely satisfied with everything: very beautiful rooms, a beautiful pool, delicious food in the restaurant, and last but not least, the immense friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. We can recommend this hotel to everyone! Dear Karona, Kimyan, Nana, and Yanpai, thank you for everything!! Best regards, Sonja and Jean-Marie

Amazing place to stay for accommodation, location, staff and services. The restaurant serves great food and happy hour(actually two) is very well priced with a generous 15% discount. Our only criticism was the swimming pool is genuinely too hot and not cool enough for those steamy hot Siem Reap days. We still give 5 stars.
