TLVFest Tel Aviv

TLVFest, Tel Aviv's international LGBTQ+ film festival, has been based at the Tel Aviv Cinematheque since 2007. You'll catch the year's queer festival films here, including Berlin winners, alongside new Israeli features and shorts - often with the directors present.

It's a ten-day event with multiple screenings each night in the Cinematheque's halls. Tickets are sold per screening through the Cinematheque.
The festival has faced boycott calls since 2017, including a 2020 petition signed by over 100 filmmakers from 15 countries, and a 2021 open letter against the boycott signed by more than 200 public figures.

The 2026 edition runs from 22 to 31 October at the Cinematheque, the first under artistic director Gili Porat and producer Yael Lavi. The program includes Markus Schleinzer's 'Rose', which won Sandra Hüller the Silver Bear for lead performance in Berlin, this year's Teddy Award winner for best feature, a 30th-anniversary screening of the Wachowskis' 'Bound', and the first Israeli screening of Yuval Hadadi's 'Man Walking Down the Street'.
The 2025 edition took place from 23 October to 1 November.
