Hotel Vintage Meguro-Fudomae

I enjoyed the hotel and breakfast service 🥣 The hotel had a lovely, calming atmosphere. The TV was large, so I enjoyed watching videos on the big screen. One thing that bothered me was sound leakage. My room was on the first floor, but I could hear the elevator buttons, so I felt like the room wasn't very soundproof. For breakfast, you were asked to order in advance when you checked in, and you could only choose your bread on the spot. However, there were only about three types of bread to choose from, and the soup I ordered in advance was sold out. I was a little disappointed... But overall, it was a fun stay, so I'm glad I did ⏳

The room is spacious and cozy, with very friendly staffs. The location is ideal, close to the train station, restaurants, and a supermarket. Since it’s away from the tourist center, the area is peaceful and quiet. Also the beautiful Ordy Bakery and coffee is right next to the reception.

The room and the service were all very good and foreigner friendly with some staff speaking english. It did however cost more money for a water refill which substracted from the quality of the service. However they do provide robes and fresh hand towels and dailg breakfast if you book through booking.com.

Fantastic! If I could give more stars I would. Clean, cute, beautiful, and the staff were incredible. Highly recommended. Easy access to trains (literal 5 min walk) and plenty of restaurants including a cafe in the hotel itself. Happy to come back if the opportunity ever came up.

I visited Vintage Hotel Meguro Fudomae, located about a 5-minute walk from Fudomae Station. It's a quiet and high-quality hotel where you can feel a sense of "emptiness." It's not flashy, but the attention to detail and the overall atmosphere are very pleasant. The retro furniture and the space where time seems to slow down create a wonderful ambiance. The location in Fudomae is also excellent; although it's slightly inconvenient, it's perfect for getting away from the hustle and bustle of the city and rejuvenating yourself. The only minor drawbacks were that the bathwater was a little lukewarm, and the bathroom lighting was only white. I think it would have been even more relaxing if the lighting had been incandescent. The cafe on the first floor is incredibly stylish, and the quality of the coffee and bread is impeccable. The arrangement of the houseplants is also beautiful, and the stay itself became a time for "rejuvenation." It was a "stay with ample space" that makes me want to stay again.

I stay here, which is very convenient to enjoy the bakery here. They do have breakfast as well, but I recommend it if you're in a nice, chill, residential area.

This hotel opened in April 2025 in Meguro Fudo-mae. We were looking for a spacious hotel for four people, and the location was great. After seeing the room photos, we decided on this one immediately. It had two king-size beds and a large sofa in the middle, so it was plenty spacious for four people. Many hotels have small rooms even with four beds, so it was nice to have a new, clean room with a sofa! The bathroom and washroom were spacious and easy to use. The clear signs distinguishing between the ceiling-mounted shower and the handheld shower were also a plus. The TV was large and located in the center, and the room was comfortable. We enjoyed girl talk until it got light outside, and the next morning, we had breakfast at the attached bakery cafe. There were many people buying bread, even outside of the hotel. I'd definitely stay here again when I'm with friends.

I used the attached cafe/bakery. The bread is expensive. It's not even that tasty considering the price. Payment is by electronic money only. Cash is not accepted. I was supposed to operate the panel myself, but Suddenly, a man from the back room appeared and snatched the screen from me while I was in the middle of operating it. Apparently, he was on break. This place, which claims to be a luxury hotel, offers bread at exorbitant prices, but the service is terrible. This just won't do. You're better off not going.

The attached cafe is really nice. The amenities and facilities in the rooms are all stylish and well-maintained. However, you shouldn't expect the same level of service as a typical hotel. Even if the cleaning isn't thorough, or if you have any problems, it seems like their manual dictates that they won't help, and there's no way to even contact the front desk. Also, there's no smoking area, and absolutely nowhere to smoke nearby, which is a negative for smokers. You have to go through the cafe every time you enter or leave the hotel, and the front desk is part of the cafe and quite cramped. The rooms are new and the facilities are stylish, so I felt that a little more service would have been nice.

The room was spacious and newly renovated, and it was beautiful. Overall it's a small hotel.
