APA HOTEL NAGOYA SAKAE

Located in the heart of the bustling city center, I felt a sense of relief upon entering the hotel entrance. There was also security at the entrance. It was my first time using an APA Hotel, and I was fumbling with the app check-in process, but a staff member kindly guided me. The hospitality was wonderful, and the large public bath, including the open-air bath and individual soaking tubs, was great for relieving fatigue. You can check the congestion level of the public bath on the room screen. The women's bath always shows as crowded, but since there are seven washing booths, one or two are usually available, and I was able to use it right away. One thing to be prepared for is that you can hear the noise from outside the hotel until around 6:30 AM. It's not so loud that it prevents you from sleeping, but it's a little bothersome before bed. It would be great if there were soundproofing or something to reduce the noise... Other than that, it's fantastic! ✨

I stayed for several nights and had my room cleaned only once, but when I looked at the towels after they were cleaned, they were all stained and dirty. The stains were large and noticeable to anyone, and I think it's a professional's job to replace them once they notice them.

I was deeply moved by the service of the female staff member who responded in fluent Korean when my wife needed to borrow a wheelchair due to her back condition, and the female staff member who calmly and fluently answered in English when we had to call 911 while we were away from home. Thanks to you, we were able to resolve the situation successfully. I sincerely thank your hotel for your service.

There was colored paper, so my daughter and I folded cranes for the first time in a while and made happy memories. It was great to be able to use the large public bath for free.

I almost always use this hotel as my base when staying in Nagoya. There's a large public bath and open-air bath on the top floor, so the night view is beautiful ✨️ Breakfast is a buffet style, so I'm always satisfied. The rooms aren't particularly spacious, but I think they're fine for one person. My only concern is that it's in the heart of Sakae, in an area with a "Kabukicho"-like atmosphere, so walking around at night might feel a little scary. If you're uncomfortable with that kind of environment, you might be better off choosing an APA Hotel near Nagoya Station.

I used this hotel for a business trip. The front desk staff were helpful, and the room was clean. However, the air conditioner had a slight odor that bothered me a little. The location is good because it's close to the station, but the area is unsafe. It might be difficult for women to use. Even more disappointing was the APA app. This isn't related to the hotel itself, but when I tried to register for the APA app in my room, it took a long time to access, and I couldn't register at all, which was very frustrating. I had wanted to register for the app and use it again, but since the app was completely unusable, I think I'll try a different hotel next time.
