Nagoya Kanko Hotel

A family of six stayed in two rooms for three nights. The hotel is surrounded by restaurants and convenience stores, and the airport bus stop is right across the street. Exit 9 of Fushimi Station is just 150 meters away. The hotel staff were very friendly and polite, and the cleanliness of the rooms and the quality of all the amenities were excellent. The buffet breakfast offered a variety of Japanese and Western dishes, and the taste and portions were both above average.

It was a wonderful hotel that didn't feel old at all ✨ The lounge on the 6th floor was spacious and comfortable 😊 I would definitely like to stay here again ✨

I used the hotel for an event, so I don't know what the guest rooms were like. It's a historic hotel, so it's a little dated, but it has a luxurious feel.

On the evening of June 12th, I was very disappointed with the service I received from a young male staff member at the information desk on the first floor. I felt he lacked basic customer service skills, even before considering the service itself, so I deducted one star. However, the service from the other staff members was very polite, and overall I was satisfied.

It is very impressive how well even old buildings in Japan are maintained.

Our stay at Nagoya Kanko Hotel was excellent and exceeded our expectations. The room was cleaned daily, and complimentary bottled water, fresh towels, and clean pajamas were provided every day. The bathroom and toilet were always spotless and spacious enough for our family of four. The room also included useful amenities such as complimentary toothbrushes, shaving razors, hair brushes, room slippers, and a kettle, which made it easy to enjoy a late-night cup of tea or even prepare instant noodles. One of the most pleasant surprises was the complimentary lounge on the 6th floor. Guests can enjoy hot or iced coffee, tea, and soft drinks at any time of the day or night. The lounge is comfortable and quiet, with plenty of seating, making it a wonderful place to relax with a book or simply unwind after a day of sightseeing. This was an unexpected benefit that greatly enhanced our stay. We booked a room with four separate beds, which was perfect for our family. Our children loved having their own beds, and everyone was able to rest comfortably. The hotel staff were consistently friendly, professional, and courteous. They were also very helpful in arranging a taxi for our family when needed. Overall, I have no complaints. The quality of service, comfort, cleanliness, and amenities far exceeded the price we paid. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to return on a future visit to Nagoya. Highly recommended.

Centrally located hotel. Close to shopping districts and right across from a small park. Breakfast was well curated and offered Japanese, Italian and continental offerings.
