The atmosphere here is relaxed, perfect for those who want a quiet chat or a drink. The bartenders are friendly and speak English, the cocktails are strong enough, and the COVID-19 prevention measures are very thorough. However, some reviews mention it's more geared towards locals, so I recommend going a few more times or striking up a conversation.
Great social chilled 🏳️🌈space Many great times in 30 years with drinks there for me One of the original gay bars in Ni Chome Iconic Wishing you all there a very Happy 40th Birthday this June 2026 Lots of love 🥰
Hidden gem in Shinjuku 2-chome! The bartender speaks fluent English, has a radiant smile, and delivers strong and delicious cocktails. Strict COVID-19 prevention measures are in place – hand sanitizer, temperature checks, and masks are all provided, giving you peace of mind. The atmosphere is relaxed and quiet, with friendly regulars, perfect for chatting and unwinding. The grapefruit sour cocktail is a must-try! At 1000-2000 yen per person, it offers excellent value.
A long-established bar that's been around for a long time. About 30 years ago, it was a place to meet foreigners, but now it's a place to relax and have a drink, and have fun with friends and staff. The lighting inside the bar is dim and it's located underground, so it has a slightly seedy atmosphere, but it's an entirely wholesome bar. If you're shy, the staff will talk to you, and if you want to drink alone, they'll leave you alone. On weekdays, there are a few regulars, so it has a relaxed atmosphere. On weekends, it's usually more lively with regulars and their companions, so it tends to be more lively. Occasionally, there are some customers who are quite loud and noisy, so just know that you're not in the right place. Women are welcome, but if you're not used to drinking, it might be better to come with a gay friend. It's not the kind of atmosphere where you'd want to drink loudly, and the drinks are quite strong, so be careful.
This is a super affordable and friendly shot bar! ✨ Even if it's your first time, you can come in without feeling intimidated!
