The Castle Star Hotel

The hostel is authentic, I really liked it, and especially the location – you can do quite a lot on foot.

This hotel offers the ultimate in cleanliness, quiet, and hospitality. We highly recommend staying for at least two nights.

The Castle Star is an excellent choice for a stay in Amman. It's a hostel-style property with private ensuite rooms and dorms. The bathroom is equipped with toiletries and hot water, although the water pressure is low. The staff is extremely friendly and always available for information. The shared kitchen is well-equipped; we found it a bit messy, but that was due to a group of young people who needed to clean it up. The terrace is lovely with a spectacular view of the city. It's in an excellent location for the Citadel, the theater, and the shopping area. I definitely recommend it to anyone who loves hostel-style accommodations.

This hostel in Amman felt like a second home. The hosts and their families were so welcoming and it was such a relaxing experience after a long trip. I've traveled to over 60 countries, but this was the first time I'd stayed in a hostel that felt so much like home. I ended up staying for a week and had a great time! I'd love to come back!

I stayed in a private room, well-maintained with air conditioning and a decent bathroom. The staff was really friendly. The location is definitely its strong point. It has a lovely balcony with a view of the city from a raised position.

The rooms are very small for 8 people and not enough oxygen I felt so. WiFi signal is sometimes getting lost or becomes weak. The admin is very helpful and sorted problem with cold water asap. Towels are for 1 jd rent. Located just next to citadel. They offer tours and sell Dead Sea products at the reception. In general a very good hostel for the money.

As a Saudi, I highly recommend this place. The reception is excellent. The service is beyond excellent. Special thanks to Wael, Tamer, and Mohammed. They were incredibly helpful, providing information and assistance to the best of their ability, and were exceptionally hospitable, polite, and respectful. The hotel itself is outstanding. The place is very clean, the bathroom is private and clean, the towels are clean, and the carpet is clean. They offer free water and tea, free Wi-Fi, and hot water that is available day and night. Honestly, this place should be a five-star hotel. It's suitable for families, solo travelers, or groups of friends. The price is excellent and worth even more. My advice to you is that I stayed at two other hotels similar in price, and they were among the worst. They were unclean, poorly serviced, overpriced, smelled bad, and had no hot water. However, I highly recommend The Castle Star Hotel in Jordan. God willing, if I ever come to Jordan, I will only book with them. Yours truly, Abu Yaqoub
