About this place Le Gray Beirut

Le Gray Beirut is one of the city's most architecturally distinguished and internationally regarded boutique luxury hotels, located on Martyrs Square in the heart of Downtown Beirut ? the area of the city most associated with post-civil war reconstruction and international capital. The hotel has a reputation for attracting a cosmopolitan, internationally connected clientele: journalists, architects, fashion industry professionals, NGO and UN officials, artists and filmmakers working in or passing through Beirut. This clientele creates an internal social atmosphere that is, by Beirut standards, among the most naturally comfortable for LGBTQ+ guests. The hotel's professional standards and international ownership structure mean that same-sex couples sharing accommodation will be treated with complete discretion and respect. For LGBTQ+ visitors to Beirut who want a boutique luxury option rather than a large international chain, Le Gray is the first recommendation. Its Downtown location places it close to the restored historic centre and within reasonable taxi distance of Mar Mikhael and POSH Club. IMPORTANT: Lebanon criminalises same-sex acts under Article 534. The hotel is safe; the broader environment carries legal risk. Grindr is blocked on Lebanese mobile networks ? use a VPN.
