Nice surprise of room and views after what seemed to be very cluttered site. My room was very well appointed (and others that you can see also). Smallish dinning room area (serving both dinners & breakfast) just off from reception and the young lady serving that night was awesome (very attentive to client needs).

I was upgraded to a lovely room, with a stunning view of the lake. Service was 10/10 as per usual. Super close to the main centre of Queenstown.

The positive for this room is that it is spacious and it has everything you need. The location can be challenging for people who struggle to walk since it is uphill going there from town. One of the things that disappointed me with this stay was the cleaning/servicing of the rooms. It was clear that the cups and spoons were not changed but probably just washed inside the room - 3 days in a row that there were hot chocolate left on the cup and the teaspoon, so it’s not even done properly. Your room doesn’t get serviced until late in the afternoon as well. I stayed for 4 nights, and my room was not serviced before noon. Additionally, the room is definitely sound-proof, so when they start cleaning outside, you can hear it. But I supposed this hotel is good from a value-for-money perspective.

Great location to walk into the gardens and into the main part of town. Really spacious apartment with everything required for a good stay and lovely views across the lake and mountains. Heater in bedroom a bit noisy but otherwise had a good stay. All was spotlessly clean. Could not hear other guests. Staff absolutely lovely and super helpful. Would recommend.

We stayed at the Scenic Suites from 26-31/5/26 and we are highly satisfied with the room amenities, facility services, and most importantly the location of the hotel. The room had all the amenities working very well as advertised in the website and the service crew who cleaned and sorted our linens were a delight to deal with and they were highly professional and genuinely pleasant. The location of the hotel was the hotel’s greatest asset. The view from our balcony was the cherry on top as it encompassed a view of the city, the lake, and the grandiose mountains surrounding Queenstown. Furthermore, the location of the hotel was just a stone throw away from town so getting our essentials were easy. The only slight and very minor inconvenience was parking spaces as the hotel had limited parking and the paid parking site was a bit challenging to locate especially at night. Extra caution is needed to enter said paid parking as the entryway was narrow and there were no barriers surrounding the edge of cliff where it is situated. The good thing though is that said paid parking is cheaper than what other hotels around the area offered. Overall, all was worth every dollar spent and we would gladly return to the Scenic suites during our next visit. We highly recommend the Scenic Suites for those who are planning to visit Queenstown.

Very disappointed, getting to your room will take you ages, going into reception then going out of the building just to get to the room, lots of walks and confusing way most especially when you’ve got bubba and lots of luggage. And another thing toothpaste and toothbrush are not included!!!took me $21 for me and my husband to get one from them and it is only a disposable ones. Really frustrating.
