Somerset Central Salcedo Makati

A beautiful, wonderful, and clean hotel with excellent service. However, it lacks a dedicated space for business meetings and gatherings, as we sometimes need a room for VIP guests. We hope this will be provided in the future. Also, the breakfast area is small; it could be moved to the upper floors and replaced with a café and private seating for guests.

I stay here for 4 nights at double room type of apartment. I can say the room is very spacious, with spacious and complete bathroom amenities and kitchen equipment as well. The breakfast still use coupon, but it’s totally fine. They served quite enough options, for breakfast only, it’s considered enough and good. I love their location, near from several convenience stores like 7-11 and Alfamart, also Starbucks just steps away from the hotel.

Edit: I spoke with Mae this morning (6/2/2026) and she explained about their subscription situation. I want to thank Somerset Central Salcedo Makati for adressing my complaint and treating me with respect. *** My family and I are currently staying here (05/31/26 to 6/5/26). It started off great on the 31st, but as soon as the 1st rolled over, we found out that they had cancelled their Sky subscription and only have local channels available. So that means no kids tv, no HBO, no movies - nothing - just Tagalog TV and Aljazeera in English. When we had called down this morning to reception to mention about the TV no longer working, they sent an egineer to our room. He made it seem that there was a technical issue and it would be resolved bny the evening. When we got back to the hotel tonight (around 8 PM), however, the new engineer that came to our room said the Sky service had been cancelled and the channles we had yesterday were no longer a part of their subscriptions. Honestly, if you have kids and entertainment is important to you, please look sowmewhere else to stay.

My partner and I recently stayed here for three days. While we initially chose this hotel primarily for its convenient location near our appointments, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of our stay. What we enjoyed: • Room Quality: We were genuinely impressed by how spacious, clean, and aesthetically pleasing the room was. The bathroom was also notably large and well-maintained. • Maintenance: Despite the building’s age, it is clear that the staff puts significant effort into upkeep. Everything was clean and in good working order. • The View: We loved the large windows that allowed for an unobstructed view of the Makati skyline; it was a highlight of our room. Areas for improvement: • Hygiene Protocols: Upon check-in, we noticed the toilet paper roll in the bathroom appeared to have been previously used (it was not a new/full roll). For hygiene purposes, we suggest ensuring that all bathroom consumables are replaced with new, sealed, or full rolls for every new guest. • Parking Accessibility: We found the parking area quite tight, which made navigating the entrance and parking space difficult even with our mid-sized vehicle (a 2025 Honda CR-V). It might be helpful to provide a heads-up to guests with larger vehicles that parking space is limited, or to offer clearer guidance on maneuvering in that area. Overall, we had a very positive experience and are already planning to stay with you again on our next visit. Thank you for the hospitality!

A very nice hotel in a homy location in Makati. Very near Salcedo Market that you get to enjoy on a Saturday morning.

100000/10!!! Definitely will be back again and recommend this to family and friends!!! Combined with a perfect location that made exploring the area effortless, this stay exceeded all my expectations.

My go to place everytime I visit Manila. The hotel is very clean and rooms are very nice. Hotel is close to many great places to eat.
