Visitors frequently praise the New World Makati Hotel for its friendly and helpful staff, excellent location near shopping malls, and a delicious breakfast buffet with good variety. However, some guests found the mattresses to be uncomfortably hard, requiring extra toppers for a comfortable sleep.

About this place New World Makati Hotel

The New World Makati Hotel is a solid, if predictable, option in Makati, Manila’s business and entertainment center.

There are 584 rooms and suites here, done up in a contemporary style that mixes modern touches with a bit of an Asian vibe. You get the usual comforts you'd expect from a hotel of this size.

Downstairs, you’ll find a fitness center with a sauna and spa, plus an outdoor pool. If you’re here for work, there’s a Business Center too. The hotel has a few places to eat, so you don’t have to leave for every meal. And if you’re planning something bigger, there’s over 2,000 square meters of event space.

Makati itself is a busy place, full of restaurants, bars, and things to do, many of them close to the hotel. For LGBTQ+ visitors, Makati is generally open and friendly, with plenty of places to go out in the district. The hotel’s central spot makes it easy enough to get around.

Great hotel for work travel - breakfast is buffet style (which makes me nervous as a coeliac) but Eric (chef) whipped up some GF mushrooms every morning so I could have something hot for breakfast with the salad I put together from the fresh ingredient station. The lobby bar is 24 hours, as is their kitchen and another chef (can’t remember her name) made a GF pork sinigang soup because I especially wanted to try something Filipino. Rooms are a little dark though, but very well maintained otherwise.

Always have the best experience in New World Hotel Makati. Staffs are very friendly, from the reception, to the breakfast dining and to the lounge area smiles from the staffs shows how welcome you are in the environment. Great breakfast buffet (love their Filipino spread especially and great options for my western kids to eat). Always have the best experience at New World Hotel Makati. A very nice hotel. You feel welcome. The breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired. Greenbelt, Glorietta, and Landmark are just a few steps away. The elevators are a bit slow, but that's really nitpicking. I would definitely stay here again.
