It turned out okay even though it was hard to sleep on the incredible hard mattress. Was it a box spring and not a real mattress? The hotel is quiet. The outside noise can be a problem. But, that's what you get when you sleep in an Asia backpacking area. A lot of weed, alcohol and loud music. Not my usual stay in a foreign land, but at least I can say I survived it and that my suspicions were correct. It was in a good location in a lot of ways. You can catch the 4a bus around the corner to Don Mueang airport for 50bht. It was a long comfy ride in AC and a TV on the local station. Ate at Ohmama for a meal. Just as good as any other meal I've had and filled me up for the day. Im glad I didn't have a window. But realized how much I need a chair to sit in during a hotel stay.

I found a baby mouse in the room. The bathroom is quite small.
