이번 아카데미에서는 강동성심병원 LGBTQ+센터 김결희 교수님과 함께 트랜스남성의 성별확정수술 중 바텀 수술을 주제로, 수술 방법별 특징과 합병증 관리, 수술 후 장기적인 진료까지 살펴보았습니다.

[ENG]🏳️‍⚧️ Understanding Bottom Surgery for Trans Men: From Surgical Options to Long-Term Care! 🌈

On October 26, the Korean Association for LGBTQ+ Medicine (KALM) held its 3rd KALM Academy, featuring Professor Kyeolhee Kim from Kangdong Sacred Heart Hospital LGBTQ+ Center.

The session explored gender-affirming bottom surgery for trans men, including:

✔️ Differences between phalloplasty and metoidioplasty
✔️ Management of postoperative complications
✔️ The importance of long-term urological follow-up
✔️ Patient-centered surgical decision-making
