About the venue
Halfway to Heaven is a traditional gay pub on Duncannon Street, between Trafalgar Square and Charing Cross station, so it sits on the edge of Covent Garden rather than in Soho itself. It's a plain, friendly pub with cheaper drinks than most central London gay bars…
“Great atmosphere and friendly crowd, it's a good spot for a drink. The only disappointment was the bartender, who was quite grumpy and unwelcoming. When it came to paying, I asked much I owed but he didn't say a word and just pointed at the card reader. Fun venue, but the customer service could definitely be improved.” — L, Google
“Love popping in to this bar, when I'm in London. Perfect on way back to hotel after the theatre. Friendly & relaxed atmosphere. Bar staff attentive.” — Ed Borgars, Google
