Pink Screens Film Festival
About This Event
Pink Screens, Brussels' queer film festival, is marking its 25th edition in 2026. It's run by Genres d'à côté, a volunteer collective that started with a monthly cine-club.
The festival takes over Cinema Nova for about ten days in early November, with additional screenings at other venues like Aventure, Galeries, Palace, and Beursschouwburg. In 2025, they also showed films in Liège, Mons, and Ghent. It all wraps up with Pink Night, a club party.
Between festivals, Genres d'à côté keeps things going with a monthly screening at Cinéma Aventure on the first Thursday of the month, and a bar night at the Maison Arc-en-Ciel.
The 2025 edition ran from 30 October to 10 November, with over 150 films.
The 25th edition is set for 28 October to 7 November 2026, kicking off with an exhibition, Radical Pillow Talk, at LaVallée. You can find the film schedule on the festival's website.
