Location was perfect.. literally few steps away from the grand place. Train station was close by. Town was fantastic. Breakfast was a let down. It was payable and provided by lloyd cafe. Absolutely disgusting sourdough and eggs. Everything was mashed up and it was a sour mess. Yogurt with granola was a disaster too. Breads were not provided until we asked for it. Paid 34 euros for something we never enjoyed. Even if we stay in the hotel won't get breakfast. Lights in the room was very deemed. Bit bright lights would have helped. However, reception was very very accommodations. As my dad was old, gave us an accessible room plus let us check out late at no extra cost.
Perfect for good night pleasure
Very disappointing experience. During our stay, the air conditioning in our room was not working, leaving the room extremely hot and uncomfortable. In addition, the hair dryer was also broken. We reported these issues to the reception and were assured that a room change had been arranged for the following day. Before leaving for Bruges, we sent an email asking for confirmation of the new room number so that we could move in immediately upon our return. Unfortunately, we never received any response. When we came back in the evening, nothing had been done to resolve the situation. No room change had been prepared, no alternative solution was offered, and no effort was made to compensate for the inconvenience. What is most disappointing is not only the lack of maintenance, but the complete absence of customer service and follow-up. The hotel failed to honor what had been promised and showed no concern for guest satisfaction. Not even a small gesture of goodwill or courtesy was offered to acknowledge the inconvenience caused. Given the location, we expected much better service and professionalism. Sadly, this was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences we have had, and we cannot recommend this property.
Despite paying all taxes included, an extra tax was charged. The location is close to the train station and tourist attractions. Although I requested a linen change from the head housekeeper the day before my departure and received confirmation, it was unfortunately not changed. Only one elevator was working, and it was occupied by staff for a long time, forcing us to wait and squeeze into a crowded elevator. The air conditioners were incredibly noisy, and everyone complained about the air conditioning performance upon arrival. Some even left the hotel. Towels were changed daily. The reception was helpful, but the extra tax was quite annoying. I checked my reservation and confirmed that I paid all taxes included.
I spent 5 days at this hotel and it was wonderful, very quiet, good location and excellent staff service, I recommend it.
Stayed in 503. Location is excellent, but rooms didnt have a working AC. It turns on and you can feel tge air but cant cool a room to 25C. I let staff know after running it overnight and they said to wait ten more minutes for it to get cooler and it never did. All they could offer was a second fan to circulate hot air. We booked because it had AC during a hot weekend for our pets so I recommend staying when AC is not a concern.
The hotel's location was close to most places and services, which was one of the things I appreciated most during my stay. It was also conveniently located near Brussel-Centraal train station, about a 5-7 minute walk away. The air conditioning in room 105 was not working throughout my stay, despite informing reception multiple times. A fan was provided, but it was inadequate and noisy, negatively impacting my comfort, sleep, and overall quality of life. Additionally, the room was somewhat noisy due to street noise. I contacted the hotel after my stay, but unfortunately, I received no response. Booking.com informed me that the hotel refused to cooperate with them, stating that they had no further recourse. This left me with the unfortunate feeling that customers are not adequately protected, even in cases of clear shortcomings in basic hotel services.
