Hotel Des Colonies

A very nice hotel, well located next to good restaurants. We only had some issues with breakfast, which we found disappointing for the price. The breakfast staff were also quite rude, unlike the reception staff who clearly told us to take a look around the breakfast area and come back to pay if we were happy with it. We felt a bit harassed by the person checking the tickets, even though we were only looking... but overall, a very good stay.

We had a wonderful experience at the hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable, close to the city center and just 50 meters from the metro station. Thank you to Zohir for being so pleasant at breakfast and for advising us about allergens (gluten intolerance). And thank you to the entire team; their smiles made our day! See you soon!

We had a wonderful weekend at this hotel. The room was beautiful and, above all, very well located in relation to Brussels North Station and the center of Brussels, where we were able to walk everywhere. A big thank you to Rudy and Vincent for their hospitality.

We particularly appreciated the warm welcome at reception from Rudy and Vincent, who were professional, friendly, and helpful in guiding us as we explored the city. Hotel near Gare du Nord, convenient when arriving from the airport or other Belgian train stations. The main shopping street is just steps away, and the Grand Place is less than a 10-minute walk. The room was large and very well decorated. The king-size bed was super comfortable. Perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. Thanks to Vincent who took care of our arrival and also to Shourad for giving us great tips for our visits. We'd definitely stay again!

Good, friendly service. Located right on a central square with a metro station. The North Station is within walking distance, and the Grand Place is a 20-minute walk or a quick metro ride away. The hotel was built in 1903 and renovated in the 1950s. It still retains its old-world charm. The room was standard. You have to like this hotel and Brussels (😃) to enjoy it, otherwise, it's best to avoid it.

Tiny, not particularly clean rooms, lack of decent lighting, and a very subpar breakfast for €20. No minibar; if you arrive thirsty, you'll die of thirst. No restaurant; if you arrive hungry, no options around. Far from the city center. €170 a night for what?

The location is ideal in the city center, close to restaurants and the metro is right across the street. There was no problem with the accommodation.

The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The location is perfect—close to public transport and within walking distance of major attractions. I’d definitely stay here again!
