Hotel Indigo Brussels - City by IHG

The hotel is picturesque, different from the usual, samey-looking hotels of recent times. A beautiful period building overlooking a large square. The photos I've seen of the large rooms make them look beautiful and spacious. Cleanliness is good, mattress is comfortable. Good breakfast, helpful and multilingual staff. It's a shame, though, that the room I got was tiny, the bathroom tiny, everything a bit claustrophobic... In short, the hotel is okay, but make sure you get a large room.

The hotel is in a great location and I really like it. It's very green with lots of plants. However, my window wasn't properly sealed, which made it quite noisy at night.

We arrived at this beautiful hotel in Brussels today and had a small problem. The receptionists, Samir and Gergely (Night operations Manager) helped us out so competently, friendly and quickly. We were absolutely thrilled with their efforts! The hotel itself is really gorgeous. Our room is very large, stylishly and modernly furnished and spotlessly clean. The location in Brussels is excellent, too. We really can't complain about anything and everything is perfect in this Hotel.

Overall, I think it's just so-so. Why do I say that? First, the room isn't big; the bed is only 0.8 meters wide. Also, they don't provide slippers or toiletries; you have to ask the front desk for them. However, the location is quite good.

Excellent experience at the Hotel Indigo. I spent four nights in a room spacious enough for two people. The bed and pillows were excellent. Our room on the sixth floor overlooked Place Rogier. Very nice but a bit noisy. Indeed, sirens of all kinds were frequent. The bathroom was good and the walk-in shower was decent (there was no bidet, but obviously I wasn't expecting one). The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of savory options and good quality. The desserts were also excellent. The kitchen was open to the public. The hallways and room were decorated in a very exotic and fun way. Good location, with the metro station just below the square. Two stops in five minutes to get to the city center. Positive review.

The hotel rooms are beautiful, decorated with various animals. The rooms aren't very big, but they're lovely. The staff are nice and the service is good.

Location is great and has quick access to the metro and train stations. Brussels Nord is pretty ghetto and I don’t recommend being there after dark, especially if traveling alone. Rooms have pretty cute and unique decor in them but no washcloths, only two sizes of towels. The shower is also very narrow. Staff was nice but misleading when they told me they, “turned on the air conditioning in my room prior to the arrival” but when I got into the room, it was still incredibly hot inside and I found there is no air conditioning at all to turn on. So expect the rooms to be very hot inside and to hear the city noises all night. I also couldn’t open the curtains to try and let some air flow in through the tiny window opening because there are bright lights on the adjacent building that shine right into the room.
