GLAS Foundation

GLAS Foundation (the name stands for Gays and Lesbians Accepted in Society) is a Bulgarian LGBTI organisation founded in Sofia in 2014. Its work covers legal and policy advocacy, public-awareness campaigns, corporate diversity and inclusion training, and community programmes. It is one of the organisations involved in Sofia Pride each June. It is an office-based NGO with no public drop-in address, so contact it through its website. Bulgaria has no legal recognition of same-sex couples, and a 2024 law restricts so-called LGBT propaganda in schools, which is part of the context the foundation works in.
