OKC Palach (Klub Palach)

OKC Palach, also known as Klub Palach, is Rijeka's long-running youth and cultural centre, tucked just off the Korzo in the heart of the centre. A mixed, alternative venue for live music, club nights, film and talks, it is also the city's most dependable queer-nightlife anchor: it regularly hosts LORI's Queer-UP! parties, with drag performances and an all-queer dancefloor, and it serves as the closing-night venue of the annual Smoqua festival. There is no permanent gay bar in Rijeka, so Palach's queer events are the best bet for a night out, though you should check its programme in advance as the dates are event-based.
