La Hacienda Cyprus

Nice place, but maybe not ideal for winter. When I went, the room was cold. There was an air conditioner, but it needed 2–3 hours to bring the room to a comfortable temperature. Also, there was no hot water in the shower for bathing.

We really loved the place! The place was very nice and clean! The owner very nice and friendly gentleman!

They canceled last minute without any explanation, I don’t recommend

Very disappointing experience – not as expected Unfortunately, our stay at La Hacienda Hotel in Limassol was very disappointing. We arrived in the evening during heavy rain. Parking in front of the hotel was easy, which was one positive point. However, the main gate was closed, the place was dark, and it looked abandoned. When we pushed the door to check if it was the entrance, it suddenly opened and five dogs (two big and three small) rushed toward us aggressively somehow. My friends started screaming, and we quickly stepped back and closed the door. This was a very frightening experience and made us think we had the wrong place. We then noticed a paper on the door with a phone number. After calling, we were told someone would come in a few minutes. We waited outside in the rain, and very uncomfortable about what kind of place we had booked. After some time, a lady arrived and welcomed us. There was no official check-in process, no passport or ID requested, which felt unprofessional. She told us our room was on the first floor. There is no elevator, so we had to carry our luggage upstairs ourselves, while the dogs were still around the property. When we entered the room, there was a very strong and unpleasant smell, not acceptable for a hotel room. The window was already open because of it. The room looked relatively clean, but the smell ruined the comfort. Towels and soap were provided, but no drinking water was available. We asked for tissues and an extra blanket, which were brought to us. On the next day (around 6:30–7:30 am), we heard a very loud bell ringing several times, which was disturbing. The toilet floor was full of water. Clearly, there is a plumbing problem that needs fixing. On the day of departure, no one asked us how our stay was. There seemed to be only one staff member, the same lady who welcomed us, and she was busy cleaning other rooms. Overall, the place felt neglected, poorly organized, and not properly managed, possibly because it was winter season. Unfortunately, we would not recommend this hotel and would not stay there again.

I spent six days at Hotel Hacienda Cyprus, and it was a wonderful experience. The room was impeccably clean, and the place was very peaceful for relaxation. Christos and his wife were incredibly kind and hospitable, making my stay truly fabulous. I highly recommend this hotel for a vacation and for exploring the wonderful sights of Limassol.

We stayed at La Hacienda for two days, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The place is beautifully designed — spacious, clean, and full of charm. The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing, perfect for a short getaway. The host Christos were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making sure we had everything we needed during our stay. The attention to detail really stood out — from the comfortable beds to the thoughtful amenities and the lovely outdoor area. We especially loved the quiet surroundings and the beautiful views, which made it easy to unwind and enjoy our time on the island. Everything looked even better in person than in the photos! We had a wonderful 6 week stay in a fabulous room. Our host and staff were extremely attentive to our needs and we felt like we were staying with friends. Excellent location close to amenities and a nice supermarket around the corner. Will definitely be staying again!
