Odysseia Hotel Kapetanios

This is an updated review for May 2026. I stayed at the hotel two years ago for an event that is held there annually and did not have a good experience. (The room was in poor condition and my dietary requirements were not met.) This year I decided to give the hotel another go and emailed to make a reservation, explaining the problems from last time. I was very impressed with the response. I received an email from the managing director of the group offering a complimentary upgrade to a superior room and assuring me that my dietary needs could be catered for (I have allergies and have to eat gluten free and dairy free). The manager of the hotel also emailed me in advance. On arrival the staff on reception knew who I was and had information about my dietary needs. One of the ladies on reception was very kind and helpful. The manager of the restaurant knew who I was and couldn’t have been kinder and more helpful. My needs were communicated correctly to the kitchen and I ate safely and confidently all weekend. The room on the 2nd floor was very pleasant, a huge improvement on my last stay and the manager told me that by this time next year all the rooms in the hotel will have been refurbished. All in all it was a very pleasant weekend and I was particularly impressed with the response I received and the willingness of the hotel management to take seriously my concerns from my previous stay and to do all they could to provide a much improved experience. I will definitely stay again.

I was pleased with the staff, who were friendly, kind, and at the same time unobtrusive. Except for one woman at the reception who tried to speak Russian to me all the time, even though I only spoke English to her. Good location. Cool pool, although it is not heated, as it says on the website. Large parking lot. I didn't like that smoking is allowed on the balconies. Someone is smoking on the balcony next door and the smoke comes into my room, smelling disgusting. The hotel is supposedly new, but a lot of things are broken - the bathroom door handle doesn't work, the kettle doesn't work, the safe can't be closed, the bathrobe has holes, etc. Everything in the restaurant is dirty, the chairs have food crumbs that you have to wipe yourself, the cornices are apparently dusty.

We would like to express a big thank you to the Odyssey Kapetanios Hotel for the wonderful experience they gave us, both at our child’s baptism last year and at his birthday party yesterday. Just like then, everything was truly impeccable. From the excellent food to the impeccable service, the organization and the attention to detail, they exceeded all our expectations. At yesterday’s party, in fact, they pampered us even more than we could have imagined, making this day truly unforgettable for us and our guests. A special mention deserves Evripides Evripides, who with his professionalism, kindness and constant presence ensures that everything runs flawlessly. He is truly one of the main reasons why you feel confident and confident at every event. The renovated hall is simply impressive and has nothing to envy from a 5-star hotel venue — elegant, modern and ideal for any event. We highly recommend the hotel for any important moment in your life. We will definitely choose it again! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything!

Renovated room, spotlessly clean with very nice furniture. Very good mattress and pillows. The reception staff were very kind and quick. Great breakfast buffet. They allowed me early check in and late check out without charge because it was possible. A hotel that I highly recommend!!

My overall stay was peaceful and delightful. The staff were very friendly and always willing to help in any way they could. I would definitely recommend staying there!
