International Prague Bear Summer
About This Event
International Prague Bear Summer is a week of bear socials run by the Prague Bears club and timed to Prague Pride in early August. It has been held every year since 2015.
There's no fixed formula. In 2023 the week opened with a beer at Heaven bar and included a sauna afternoon at Sauna David, naturist swimming by the river, club nights at Heaven and Kotelna, a bear group in the Pride parade and a farewell lunch. Bears came from Austria, Israel, Italy, Germany, Portugal, Spain and the US.
The 12th edition ran in August 2026. The organisers have announced the 13th for 3 to 9 August 2027. The programme was still being prepared when we checked.
